On Saturday 9 September the Newark Academy held the official opening of the Sam White Sports Centre. The event was well attended with great support from the local community, our family and friends. Pam and I were honoured to be there and do the official unveiling and Sam would have been very proud. A huge thanks to the Newark Academy and also to all who attended and supported the carnival, raising money for the charity on the day.
