We were very honoured to have been accepted to present the Sam White Return To Education Pathway, Post an Acquired Brain Injury, at the IPBIS Conference in Rome last month. There were representatives from 43 countries attending, and a very large audience.

The presentation was given by Pam and one of the co-authors Dr Emily Bennett from Nottingham University Hospitals. A good deal of interest for the pathway was expressed, coming from a far away as Australia, New Zealand, and Canada as well as Europe.

The Pathway is already being used in England and we have 17 young people who have been helped in their return to education so far this year. The feedback from them, their parents and schools has been excellent, which is wonderful to hear. Sam really pushed us in producing this piece of work, and as usual he seems to have been right, this is providing support for many who need it, not just the student but also the educators.

Thank you Emily and Nicki, and all those who have supported the project , for getting this far. We know what great things this is helping to achieve.
